Skating - Nathan Phillips Square (NPS) - City Hall

This winter, the Toronto City Hall (Nathan Phillips Square) ice rink opened November 28, 2015 to March 20, 2016 weather depending.

For information on ice conditions on the rink, contact 311 or check the City website.

Open daily from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. (a rink guard is always on duty).

Snack bar (and Food Services)
The Snack bar is currently not operating.
City Hall Cafe on the Square (main floor of City Hall) is open daily until 7pm M-F.
Tim Hortons operates on the corner of Bay and Queen (off site)

Washrooms
Located on the North West side of the rink building facing the stage.

Locker Room
There is a locker room inside the building, with the entrance next to the Skate Rental concession. There are small lockers (like the ones in a bus station) that are coin operated. It is 25 cents to get the key, and the coin is returned when the key is returned.

Rink permits
Nathan Phillips Square (NPS) is a major tourist attraction, therefore no permits are issued for the use of this rink. If you have a large group that wishes to use the rink, and you would like to find out what times are less busy, please contact 311, and you will be connected with a PF&R staff member who can make suggestions for your group.
