City nominations
External bodies where the City nominates Toronto residents for a board or advisory committee appointment:

Casa Loma Board
Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) Board
GTAA Community Environment and Noise Management Committee
GTAA Consultative Committee
Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) Board
Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA)
Toronto Port Authority (TPA) Board

In some cases, Council is required by legislation to make the nomination. In other cases, Council may make nominations at the request of the external board.

The Council-approved Public Appointments Policy governs the City's process for recruiting, selecting and nominating Toronto residents for these appointments.

When opportunities become available, they are posted on our Current opportunities website as part of the City's advertised recruitment process for board appointments.
