Experiences of World War I, both in the armed forces and at home, are detailed in this collection of handwritten letters and photographs by Frederick Edwards and his friends and family. Outside of the war years, Edwards worked in the City of Toronto's Assessment Department his entire career, starting in 1913 at age 17, until his death in 1945 at the age of 49. Fonds 231.
