RE-CREATE Waterfront REC-RE-ATE
Site: Toronto Port Lands
Designer: Bryce Miranda, University of Toronto

Peter Ellis
This is a compelling vision for the transformation of the Toronto Waterfront that acknowledges the ecological process of land reclamation.

Larry Beasley
There's a provocative vision here complete with the beginnings of an actual proposal. The notion of before and after the Olympics is interesting and very current in Toronto. The focus on ecology and natural processes is commendable.

David Oleson
This is a creative proposal for a new "mouth" for the Don River as it meets Lake Ontario at the Toronto Harbour. This project shows a well thought-out integration of nature's imperative with the overlay of urban development, incorporating traces of man-made history.

Donna Hinde
Very strong student project, multi-layered in its thoughtful consideration of ecology, transportation and urban design.
