The Beach BIA

Councillor:   Mary-Margaret McMahon,  Ward 32
Website: www.beachbia.com

The Beach BIAWhen you need to get away from the big-city hustle and bustle, come visit Toronto's favorite lakeside community without leaving the city.

Sandy beaches, the long winding Boardwalk, picturesque parks and the natural beauty of the Beaches have always drawn people to this east-end neighbourhood. Although the current BIA began in 2004, visitors have been flocking to Toronto's first resort by streetcar and excursion steamer as early as 1870. Outstanding natural attractions and nearby Queen Street East - a small-town friendly Main Street with eclectic shops, varied services, abundant restaurants and outdoor cafes - have kept The Beach popular, year after year.

Visit www.beachbia.com for more information on best ways to get to The Beach, current attractions and descriptions of all the businesses.
