A reception to honour the finalists and to announce the winner was held at the Toronto Reference Library on September 5.

Mayor David Miller congratulates Sally Gibson for Inside Toronto: Urban Interiors 1880s - 1920s (Cormorant Books).	Geoffrey James is honoured for Toronto (Douglas & McIntyre).
Raymond Souster is congratulated by Mayor David Miller for Uptown Downtown (The Battered Silicon Dispatch Box).	Accepting the award on behalf of the winner, Michael Redhill for Consolation, was Doubleday Canada's representative Maya Mavjee.

Maya Mavjee also represented finalist Vincent Lam for Blooodletting & Miraculous Cures, who was unable to attend.
