2011 Toronto Challenge helps to raise $510,000 in support of seniors!

The 20th annual Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca brought together 53 fundraising partners in a celebration of physical activity and community spirit. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities participated in their event of choice – 5k run, 5k walk or 1k fun walk. Funds raised at the Toronto Challenge go directly to community programs supporting projects and groups that help improve the quality of life for seniors in so many different ways, such as providing home support and independent living, offering recreation and leisure programs, transportation to the mall, and large print books. This year we raised an amazing $510,000, thank you very much!

The Toronto Challenge is a community event and would not take place without the generous support of our sponsors, who provide financial and in-kind contributions; the participants who run, walk and raise pledges; and the dedicated volunteers who make the event possible, safe the enjoyable for everyone.
