Through its 10 directly-operated long term care homes and supportive housing at a variety of contracted sites, Toronto's Long-Term Care Homes and Services Division provides long-term care for people who can no longer live independently in the community. As well, the division offers services that help people remain in their own homes for as long as possible. These include adult day programs, homemaking services in clients' homes, Meals-on-Wheels and short-stay admissions (respite).
