The Bonar Creek Stormwater Management Facility Project was identified in the 25-year implementation plan of the Wet Weather Flow Master Plan (WWFMP) in order to improve stormwater quality in Mimico Creek to provide an integrated work program for managing wet weather flow.
The extension of Legion Road is identified in the City's Official Plan and will seek to provide access to Lake Shore Boulevard for existing and new development north of the CN Rail corridor and for residential communities west of Grand Avenue. It will also provide access to The Queensway via Grand Avenue for lands on the south side of the rail corridor. This new link would benefit both communities.
