Proposed Etobicoke-Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) - July 2008

The City of Toronto and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) are examining ways to significantly improve transit service on Finch Avenue West between Yonge Street and the Highway 27 area.

The Etobicoke-Finch West LRT is one component of the Transit City Light Rail Plan - a proposed network of seven new light rail lines that would provide comfortable, efficient rapid transit throughout Toronto.

The City of Toronto and the TTC are holding four Open Houses in December. TTC and the City will present final passenger stop locations, traffic management strategies as well as details related to all environmental aspects of the project including mitigation measures for the preferred design.

All Open Houses will be held between 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
