The Licensing Subcommittee:

  • hears public deputations on licensing policy matters
  • reviews public submissions on licensing policy matters
  • reports on licensing matters to the Planning and Transportation Committee with or without recommendations
  • liaises with the Taxicab Advisory Committee and any other licensing advisory committees that may be established
  • considers matters pertaining to licensing policy, procedures and processes
  • does not consider matters pertaining to individual licenses, zoning and the Official Plan, nor does it consider matters within the jurisdiction of the Toronto Licensing Tribunal
