The Roundtable on a Beautiful City was referred to the Mayor and the function has been rolled into Live Green Toronto and the Public Realm Office. The following information is provided for archival purposes.

Toronto's Roundtable on the Environment was created to advise the Mayor and City Council on current and emerging environmental sustainability issues affecting the City of Toronto.

    The roundtable was guided by the City's Environmental Plan and its goals were: clean, green and healthy. The roundtable served as a forum for information sharing, idea exchange, and the promotion of innovation on environmental sustainability. *

* * Green Roof Pilot Program
City Council approved the first Green Roof Incentive Pilot Program in May 2006 and the 2006 staff report (PDF) describes the original program in detail. The 2007 pilot program is described in this 2007 staff report (PDF).
