The Roundtable on a Beautiful City was referred to the Mayor and the function has been rolled into Live Green Toronto and the Public Realm Office. The following information is provided for archival purposes.
Membership
The roundtable is composed of 13 members, in addition to Mayor and two members of Council. The 13 community members have knowledge and expertise in the following areas: water, air, land, sustainable transportation, green economic development, sustainable energy use, environmental measurement and reporting, environmental education and awareness, environmental health. The membership generally reflects the diversity of Toronto's population.
Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone chairs the roundtable and Councillor Paul Fletcher is its Vice Chair. Mayor David Miller is an ex-officio member.

Role
In addition to the range of environmental issues outlined in its Terms of Reference, the roundtable serves as a forum for discussion of green roofs issues and advises the Mayor and Council on work being done regarding policies and incentives to encourage the implementation of green roofs in the City.
