Letter from the task force Chair

Dear Friend:
As chair of the City of Toronto Task Force on Community Access and Equity, I would like to invite you to participate in the second round of consultations we are undertaking over the next month. Please check the consultation schedule for a location and time that suits you.
Also please check the interim report which gives the preliminary findings of the task force and outlines general directions that the Task Force feels should be reflected in its final report.

This framework has attempted to reflect and address, as much as possible, all the concerns and ideas that the Task Force heard in the first round of consultations. We would therefore very much like to hear from you as to whether we are on the right track or not. We certainly recognise the very short notice to allow for your considered input, but I hope you can appreciate the need for the Task Forces' report to be adopted by the City of Toronto Council as soon as possible so that we can get on with the work that needs to be done.
If you cannot make any of the consultation sessions, again I certainly encourage you to write in your comments and thoughts. Please address these to:
Toronto Task Force on Community Access and Equity
55 John Street, 6th Floor
Toronto, ON M5V 3C6
fax to: (416) 397-0888
or, e-mail at: AccessandEquity@toronto.ca.
Thank you for your support and interest and look forward to your continuing participation in ensuring a clear and strong role by the City of Toronto in responding to the issues of access and equity.
Sincerely yours,
Joe Mihevc
