The son of a former MPP, the late Doug Ford, Etobicoke politics and community political involvement are in Councillor Rob Ford's blood. A believer of building better communities, Rob is a supporter, volunteer and/or member of the Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal, Terry Fox Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Etobicoke Chamber of Commerce, Metro Toronto Board of Trade and the Toronto West Rotary Club.
Keeping the youth of society busy is why Rob assisted in reviving the football program of Newtonbrook Secondary in addition to founding and managing the summer league Toronto Express. In 2002, Rob continued this tradition and founded the Eagles football squad at Don Bosco Secondary in Etobicoke where he is currently the Head Coach of the Junior & Senior teams.
As a principal of a successful Etobicoke business that employs over 100 people, Rob brings a "bottom line and customer service" focus to the municipal sector. If you need assistance with a City issue, please do not hesitate to contact him or his office. The Taxpayers of Ward 2 elected Mr. Ford to Council so do not forget that he works for you.
Both Rob Ford and his wife Renata are lifelong residents of Etobicoke where they continue to reside with their daughter and son.
Please tune into AM 640 every Thursday morning at 8 a.m. to hear the Councillor discuss City issues.
