Assembly Hall Map It
This century-old building has undergone a major renovation by the City of Toronto, which preserved its historic charm, blended with modern updates and amenities. The Assembly Hall reopened in June 2001 as a multi-purpose community cultural centre, offering a performance hall, community meeting rooms and gallery space.

Performance Hall

  • 250 for theatre seating
  • 130 for banquet seating
  • 165 for stand-up receptions 

Community Rooms and Kitchen

  • 50 for theatre style meeting
  • 30 for sit down dinner or meeting

Other information

  • client is responsible for obtaining a Special Occasion Permit if alcohol is being served
  • liability insurance is required
  • open to any catering company
  • site does not levy a corkage fee

Cedar Ridge Creative Centre - Map it
Historic charm and lush gardens make Cedar Ridge Creative Centre the perfect setting to hold your next event, be it a wedding, anniversary or milestone birthday. The hall is available for rent for special occasions from the last weekend in June until the first weekend in September. The rental area includes the living room, dining room, library and solarium. The formal gardens are also permitted out for wedding ceremonies and photography.

  • 80 stand up cocktails
  • 80 sit down dinner
  • 80 theatre style

Zion Church Cultural Centre - Map it
Originally built in 1873, the historic Zion Church Cultural Centre is the highest elevation in the City of Toronto and lends a sense of intimacy, warmth and significance to your event. Designated a heritage building, Zion Church CC was fully restored in 1998 and is a fine example of a rural church fashioned in the Gothic style. The 1600 sq. ft hall features the original tongue and groove pine wood-plank floors, large lancet windows, a stage and spot lighting system, while the addition includes spacious washrooms and a kitchenette.

  • 100 theatre style seating
  • 70 sit down dinner
