We thrive on questions and curiosity, and provide a safe and comfortable space for discovery and exploration.
Group One
- Bake scones or derby cakes in the historic kitchen
- Churn butter & make ice cream (warm weather option)
- Make dipped and moulded candles
- Carding & dyeing sheep's fleece (one hour unit)
Group Two
- Carding sheep's fleece
- Using a drop spindle (with carding only)
- Exploring 19th century costume
- Making handkerchief dolls (ages 7 & up)
- Toys and games
- Writing with quills (ages 7 & up.)
- 19th century crafts (one hour unit)
