Birthday Party Programs at Historic Zion Schoolhouse

Historic Zion Schoolhouse
Zion Schoolhouse is one of Toronto's last unaltered one-room schoolhouses. Built in 1869, it provided free public education. Children were taught basic reading, writing and arithmetic as well as agriculture and nature study. Kids visiting today can experience what it would be like as a student in the early 20th century, but with no homework and with a lot more fun.
Birthday Party Programs:
"But Miss, it's my Birthday!"
Let the historic schoolhouse be a perfect backdrop to your party – just like in your favourite book. Children will play pretend and become Edwardian students in our 1910 Schoolhouse. But even when it's your birthday you must finish your school work and do your best in the school spelling-bee.

"Wait for the Whistle!" An Edwardian Recess
Stilts, Tug of War, Races, Games and an Edwardian School day. Celebrate your birthday playing pretend in the schoolroom and the school yard where recess is the best gift of all.
