The 2001 Bicycle Friendly Business Awards were presented to winners and runners-up at a special ceremony that took place at Mountain Equipment Co-op on Wednesday, October 24th, 2001:

  Winner: Trailblazers' Tandem Cycling Club

• Bicycle Commute Award

  Runner-up: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College

• Best Small Business Award
  Winner: Sport Swap
  Runner-up: True Solutions

• Best Large Business Award
  Winner: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
  Runner-up: Ontario Power Generation

• Best Overall Award
  Winner: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
  Runner-up: Trailblazers' Tandem Cycling Club

Dr. Jean Moss receives the Best Overall Bicycle Friendly Business Award on behalf of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. The award is presented by Toronto City Councillor and Toronto Cycling Committee Co-Chair, Oliva Chow

All winners received a Bicycle Friendly Business Awards trophy and a scroll from the Mayor.
