What is a Bicycle Station? What is a Bicycle Station?

A bicycle station is a secure, indoor bicycle parking facility. It also functions as an information centre where customers can get information on bicycling, walking and public transit in Toronto.

The bicycle station at Union Station includes a change room, a mechanic stand and a variety of tools for customer use, as well as a vending machine with emergency bike necessities such as tubes, tire levers, patch kits, and, of course, refreshing beverages. Security measures include a "man-trap" door system to prevent people following others into the station, 24 hour video surveillance as well as staffed hours during the day.

New Winter parking plan. Leave your bike for a month at a time (No late penalties, no 48 hour rule) from November to March, $20 a month..

Bicycle Station rules Bicycle Station rules

Special Winter Promotion!
From November 2009 – March 2010 we’re having a special promotion. Normally, the Bicycle Station requires you to move your bike at least once every 48 hrs. During the winter this rule will not be enforced, so when the weather is bad, you may leave your bike parked at the station for as many consecutive days as you like. Parking prices will be the same as usual.

  • Customers will park their own bicycles and use personal bicycle locks to secure them to the bicycle station racks.
  • Customers must display a bicycle station number tag on the back of their bicycles when parked at the station.

Please talk to the Bicycle Station Staff if you have any concerns regarding the rules.

Waiting List Waiting list
  • Parking Plans at the Toronto Bicycle Station are offered on a first come-first served basis. A waiting list will be maintained once the maximum number of parking plans has been purchased.

Renewals Renewals
  • Customers will have the option to renew their parking plans. A renewal notice will be sent to customers by e-mail before the parking plan expiry date.
