About CAN-BIKE Courses
CAN-BIKE
CAN-BIKE cycling courses are offered for both adults and young cyclists. There is a variety of courses available for different skill levels, ranging from 'adult learn to ride' for those who can not ride a bike at all, to CAN-BIKE 2, for commuter cyclists who want to boost their safety and efficiency on major urban roads. Join the two-wheeled revolution – take a CAN-BIKE course! You can help set the pace for Toronto's 900,000 cyclists!

CAN-BIKE Courses
The CAN BIKE Program offers the following courses:

Learn from the best
CAN-BIKE is the only accredited course of its kind. Courses are taught exclusively by instructors certified by the CAN-BIKE program. Instructors are knowledgeable about the Highway Traffic Act and teach cycling skills such as anticipating traffic dynamics, recognizing road hazards, and collision-avoidance techniques. Our most advanced course, CAN-BIKE 2, is required training for many people who cycle on the job. In fact, all Toronto Police bicycle patrol officers are required to take CAN-BIKE 2.

CAN-BIKE 2 Training for Your Workplace or Organization
If you are required to ride your bike to perform work duties then your employer is responsible for providing the appropriate safety training. CAN-BIKE is the only recognized safe cycling course that fills this requirement. Read all about the certification process here. See also how you can become the official CAN-BIKE instructor for your organization! As an instructor you can also teach public courses in the spring, summer and fall months at $16.69 - $22.64/hr!
