  Donation opportunities
   

Where the money is used:

  • Restore forests, wetlands and meadows
  • Communications & Outreach Activities including environmental education to classes and a vast cross-section of the community
  • Promote 'green' issues in an urban environment

The Bring Back the Don Task Force has a 5 year plan that targets 25 different restoration sites throughout the lower Don Valley!

The aims are to:

  • Enhance wildlife habitat
  • Involve community volunteers in the implementation, maintenance & monitoring of sites
  • Increase access to the Lower Don Valley Trail System
  • Create an educational and recreational resource for local schools and the community
  • Improve the health of our local environment including air and water quality

How to donate: Private Citizens

Donations can be made to commemorate a special event such as a birthday, wedding, graduation, or in memory of a loved one. Please make your cheque payable to the "City of Toronto, Task Force to Bring Back the Don" and send it to:

How to donate: Corporations & Foundations

The Task Force also welcomes support from private companies and non-profit foundations. For more information on how you can further your corporate commitment to the environment through supporting a Task Force project, please call Scott at 416-338-5053.

Tax receipts for donations exceeding $25.00 will be issued by the City to the donor.

With your support, Bring Back the Don is able to continue to make Toronto a more livable city.
