  Tree planting days

Plantings are fun for families, individuals and groups. We provide shovels, gloves and other tools. You just need to wear sturdy shoes and clothing that can withstand a little dirt.

High school students are welcome to gain volunteer hours with the Task Force to Bring Back the Don at our weekend planting events. Contact us at 416-392-LEAF or greentoronto@toronto.ca if you have any questions or would like more information on our planting program.

If you have never planted before, it's easy! Someone will always be on hand to show you how it's done.

Attention teachers, youth groups, companies, and community organizations:

Weekday events usually run 10 a.m. to noon and are a great way to learn about local environmental issues in an outdoor setting. Interested individuals available during the week are also welcome.
