When is the list of buildings available on the Doors Open Toronto website?
The current list of buildings for the calendar year goes up on May 1. Note: All buildings are subject to change without notice. You may also visit the History page of our website to access our archive of buildings by year.
Where can I get a map?
Find the building you wish to visit and then click more. Each building has a map, which also indicates what buildings are nearby.
Can you mail me out a guide/or list of buildings?
No, sorry we cannot mail out guides.
How do I find out what times buildings close, how to get there and what I should expect?
Most buildings are open from 10 a.m.-5p.m. Visit the Buildings to Visit page and click on the buildings you are interested in. Make sure you click "more" for a detailed description of each site.
Where can I get the Doors Open Toronto Kid's Guide?
We are no longer publishing a Kid's Guide. When the building list is available to the public for 2012, we will indicate all kid friendly sites.
How do I find out which buildings are accessible barrier-free buildings?
This information is available on the Buildings to Visit page, look under Accessibility.
Is there a mobile application?
Yes! Look for them on the Mobile apps page in May of 2012. You can create a mobile app yourself by downloading them from Open Data. Please note, all apps have been created in the past using Open Data and have not been commissioned by the City of Toronto."

How do I volunteer for Doors Open Toronto?
Visit the volunteer section of this website for more information. You can fill out an application form this fall. Youth are welcome. There are specific criteria to participate and mandatory training sessions to attend.
Can I get a letter for accredited service for my volunteer activities?
Yes! A letter confirming volunteer hours will be sent to you via e-mail within two weeks of the event weekend.
