Doors Open Toronto May 26 & 27, 2012
Doors Open Toronto volunteers must be familiar with the Doors Open Toronto program, enjoy dealing with the public, have good communication skills and be interested in the architecture and history of Toronto. Volunteers are the ambassadors for this event and for the City of Toronto.
There is a wide range of adult and youth volunteer opportunities at many of the buildings participating in Doors Open Toronto.

Youth Policy for Toronto Special Events
Toronto Special Events’ policy is to have young people aged 16 and 17 years accompanied by an adult during their volunteer time with us. This includes the orientation and training sessions, as well as the actual participation at events, and since the adult is also volunteering he or she is included in the event plans and acknowledgements. The adult can be a parent, guardian, older sibling, relative, or friend, but it is the parent or guardian who must sign the permission form.
