Toronto Public Health works to promote and protect the health of Toronto's 2.4 million people. We have programs to support women in their reproductive years, pregnant women, new parents and families with children. Our goal is to promote the healthy growth and development of all children.

Working with mothers and babies We provide education, counselling, referral and support in the areas of: preconception and prenatal health; postpartum; breastfeeding; infant and child nutrition; speech and language development; safety; healthy growth and development; immunization; and parenting.
