Toronto Fire Services Career Awareness Program – Aptitude Testing Familiarization and Skills Development Course

The Toronto Fire Services and www.firefighterprep.com offers an Aptitude Testing Familiarization and Skills Development Course designed for persons 18 years of age and older.

Course Description
The Aptitude Testing Familiarization and Skills Development Course is designed to familiarize learners with standardized aptitude testing and develop related skills for improving test scores. Throughout the course, learners will have an opportunity to complete simulated tests and to discuss the components of each section in an instructor led classroom setting. During classroom sessions, the instructor will discuss some of the knowledge and skills required for completion of particular components, together with tips for improvement. Learners will also receive an on-line account for a period of one year that provides access to five tests, online feedback about each test performance, and study materials similar to those discussed in the classroom sessions. Note: access to the internet is required.
