The current hiring list will expire December 31, 2009.

While we will be hiring a third class in the near future, it is doubtful that any additional classes will be hired in 2009.

A recruitment for 2010 hires of probationary firefighters for Toronto Fire Services will be held sometime this year (date of recruitment to be announced).

If you are still interested in Toronto Fire Services you can reapply to the new recruitment process. Candidates scheduled for the third class may want to reapply in the event that they are unsuccessful in any of the remaining steps of the hiring process.

All candidates are reminded to maintain current contact information throughout the recruitment process. You can log in to your account at Fire Fighter Recruitment Login to update your contact information ONLY.

Any changes, additions or updates made to applications and/or resumes after the closing date of March 7, 2008 will not be considered. Candidates who obtained the required qualifications after this date will be disqualified from the process.

Due to the volume of applications, feedback will not be provided to those who were not successful in the recruitment process.
