The Toronto Arson Task Force will be providing a one-day seminar entitled "Psychology of a Fire Setter".
The seminar will allow the participant to learn from leading experts in the field and develop an understanding of a fire starters thoughts and how to manage their behaviours.
Keynote Speakers are:
- Dr. Peter Collins; Coordinator, Forensic Psychiatry Unit
Criminal Behaviour Analysis Section, Behavioural Sciences & Analysis Services, Ontario Provincial Police
- Detective Sergeant Karen Arney, Criminal Profiling Unit, Toronto Police Service
- Detective Tim Irish, Forensic Investigations Services, Toronto Police Service
- Fire Investigator, Mike Ross, Office of the Fire Marshal, Ontario
Location: Toronto Fire/EMS Training Centre, 895 Eastern Avenue
Time: 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs; please arrive by 0730 hrs to register with staff

Toronto Arson Task Force in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office offered a 2-day seminar entitled Fire Scene Assessment on October 12th & 13th, 2010 or October 14th & 15th, 2010.
