Clean City Community Events
2005
The Clean City team participated in a number of community events in the spring of 2005. They successfully increased public awareness and community cooperation/empowerment in keeping the City clean of graffiti. In addition, the community events provided an excellent arena for inter-agency coordination of several "Clean City" initiatives. Members of the Toronto Police Service, the Mayor's Office, MLS, WES, Parks, Canada Post, and other public and private bodies were all integral to the success experienced at following events:
- April 22, 2005 Clean Sweep Day (Danforth Ave.)
- June 11, 2005 Environmental Day
- Central Tech High School Clean Up Day 2005
- Drake Hotel Mural Painting Day 2005
