Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd., a waste management company located in southwestern Ontario, was the owner of the Green Lane Landfill Site at the time of the Environmental Assessment for the Optimization of the Green Lane Landfill Site.

Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) provides comprehensive engineering, environmental consulting, construction, and information technology (IT) services. Effective April 2, 2007, the owners of the Green Lane Landfill Site, the City of Toronto, selected CRA as the contracted operator and engineering consultant for the Site.

CRA also served as Green Lane Environmental Group Ltd.’s engineering consultant under the previous landfill site ownership. During 2002 - 2006 CRA completed the Environmental Assessment for the Optimization of the Green Lane Landfill Site as well as related technical studies and approvals under the Environmental Protection Act and Ontario Water Resources Act.
