The following photographs were taken at the Green Toronto Awards reception and ceremony at City Hall on May 2, 2005. Award recipients, sponsors, judges and members of the City's Roundtable on the Environment mingled in the Members Lounge before the ceremonial event in the council chamber. Afterward, participants chatted in the rotunda, as shown in the photograph below.

Award Presentations

A total of 24 Environmental Awards of Excellence were presented in eight categories (in addition to the presentation of Green Toronto Awards to a winner in each of the eight categories). Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone, with representatives of the award sponsors, present the 24 Awards of Excellence as shown in the photographs that follow.

Green Design
