The Live Green Toronto Festival is a unique celebration of all things green.
We welcome applications from exhibitors who promote and support environmentally friendly living — at home, work and on the road.
This year we are excited to feature many of our participating businesses in the Live Green Toronto Membership Card Program.
We are pleased that you are interested in joining us as an exhibitor. Here you will find important information about participation in the Festival. Please review carefully before applying to exhibit at the event.

Event overview
Saturday July 16, 2011 – Green Street Saturday
- Street-closure of Yonge Street (from Dundas to Queen) – Exhibitors open on the street from 11 am – 8pm
- Concert and events on Yonge-Dundas Square run from 11 am – 10:30 pm.
Booth location
If approved as an exhibitor, your booth will be located on Yonge Street. We are closing Yonge Street from Dundas to Queen. Space on Yonge-Dundas Square is reserved for sponsors and approved food vendors.
What we will provide:
- A white tent that is 10' x 10' and sandbags
- 1 table that is 6' x 2 ½ (standard table height)
- Two chairs
What you are responsible for bringing:
- If you have your own 10 X 10 tent you are welcome to bring it. Please let us know if you plan to bring your own tent.
- Table linens/skirting
- Display material – products, literature, etc
- Signage
- Please note: your exhibit must fit within the 10 x 10 space. For the consideration of other vendors please ensure your display is confined to your own 10 X 10 area.
Exhibitor Fees
There is an exhibitor fee which will help cover the costs of equipment rentals such as tents, tables and chairs. Environmental non-profit organizations are eligible for a discounted fee.
Successful applicants will be asked to submit payment to secure their booth space. Do not send payment unless you have been notified that you have been selected to participate in the festival.
For profit businesses:
Exhibitor fee is $275 + HST
Non-profit organizations:
Exhibitor fee is $75 + HST (for a shared booth space)
Non-profit organizations will share a booth
Non-profit organizations, that have been selected to participate in the festival, are required to share a booth space with another like minded non-profit organization. You can request an organization to share with or you will be matched with a similar group.
You get:
- Shared 10 X 10 booth space with tent
- Each organization would get their own table and two chairs
- Corner location (your tent would be located at the end of a row of tents)
- You will be paired with a like-minded organization
- Cost: $75 + HST
Benefits of sharing:
- Corner location makes you highly visible
- Reduced costs
- You receive the same table space for your display materials
- Opportunity to work alongside another great organization
If you are a non-profit organization that requires a full booth space, the cost will be the full exhibitor fee of $275 + HST. Please contact us to discuss.
Electricity
- We have limited access to electricity. Please ensure your display functions without electricity.
- Only food vendors and sponsors (that have already requested it) will have access to electricity.
- Gas/diesel/propane powered generators are not permitted.
- You are welcome to bring solar powered generators if you require electricity.
Zero waste policy
The Festival is a zero waste event. Avoid using materials/packaging that cannot be recycled or composted. Recycling and compost bins will be highly visible and located throughout the event site.
Please note: The sale of bottled water is not permitted at this event.
Weather
The Festival will go on 'rain or shine'. We recommend all exhibitors bring sunscreen, hats, rain gear and water. No free food will be provided at the event, however the Toronto Water trailer will be on site to provide free tap water. We suggest you bring food and snacks or you can purchase food from our many excellent food vendors on site.
