  Maple Leaf Quay West

Maple Leaf Quay West MapDirectly to the east of 401 Queens Quay (an existing condominium) Maple Leaf Quay West includes a large surface parking lot currently leased to the Harbourfront Centre for employee parking. The surface parking lot is the only existing site use.

At approximately 0.4 Ha (.98 acres), this site is a prime candidate for Phase I park development.

The lands surrounding the adjacent condominium include a below-grade parking structure. The roof top grounds of the parking garage are to be designed and developed by the City as part of the park development.

The Water's Edge Promenade extends along the eastern edge of the dockwall and under Queens Quay Boulevard to the Peter Street Basin. Although ideal for the berthing of various visiting ships, the dockwall along the south edge of the quay is seldom used due to its poor condition.
