New mothers are an important part of your customer base and becoming Breastfeeding Friendly is a sound business decision.

How to become Breastfeeding Friendly?

Follow these simple steps to become Breastfeeding Friendly:

  1. Contact Toronto Health Connection at 416-338-7600 to receive your information package and Breastfeeding Friendly window decal. 
  2. Review the tips on how your business can become Breastfeeding Friendly:
  3. Discuss how you can be Breastfeeding Friendly with your staff by reviewing and posting the appropriate Employee Guide for your staff:
  4. Toronto Public Health can provide your business with a sample breastfeeding policy to display for staff and visitors such as:
  5. Display the Breastfeeding Friendly window decal at the entrance of your business. The Breastfeeding Friendly decal is available in English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Farsi, Greek, Hindi, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, Urdu, Vietnamese, French, Italian, Somali, and Tagalog. To receive your Breastfeeding Friendly decal, contact Toronto Health Connection at 416-338-7600. 
  6. Complete the Breastfeeding Friendly Registration Form and your business will be added to Toronto Public Health's Directory of Breastfeeding Friendly places website.
