Best Shot DVD - Meningococcal Vaccination

The 3 1/2 minute Take Your Best Shot DVD is part of a resource package to support schools and teachers with the grade 7 immunization clinics held in schools. Students learn about the risks of hepatitis B and meningococcal infections and how vaccination offers protection. Common questions students have about these immunizations are answered.

"Take your best shot" DVD

DVD Update:

The Take Your Best Shot DVD uses the terms "meningitis C" or "men-C" to refer to type C meningoccocal disease and the vaccine offered for protection. The DVD does not refer to other types of preventable meningococcal disease (A, Y, W-135) or the newly funded Menactra® vaccine. This information is found on TPH's vaccine fact sheet and consent form, which will be given to each student. Although students will now receive Menactra® , the vaccination principles and other content addressed in the DVD remain current.
