H1N1 flu virus

If you are well:

  1. Protect yourself by getting the H1N1 and seasonal flu shots. Vaccinations are available through many doctors' offices, community health centres and walk-in clinics. Some employers will be hosting vaccination clinics in the workplace.
  2. The H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines are recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Learn about what is safe for you and your baby.

If you are feeling ill:

  1. Stay away from work, school and public places.
  2. Learn about the symptoms of the flu, when to seek medical help, and how to take care of yourself.
