Action to end Section 43 of the Criminal Code
Section 43 of the Criminal Code allows physical punishment of children. Many organizations serving children and families would like to see the end of this outdated law and are calling on the federal government to take action.

Joint Statement on Physical Punishment of Children and Youth
This statement, endorsed by over 140 organizations across Canada, summarizes the research on how physical punishment affects children, and concludes that physical punishment is harmful and does not work.

Repeal 43 Committee
