Biosolids report

Dr. David McKeown has released a report "Human Health and Ecological Assessment of Toronto Biosolids Pellets - Technical Summary" This report to the Board of Health summarises the results of a study undertaken for Toronto Public Health. The study assessed the potential impact to people, plants and soil organisms, pets, birds and other wildlife should pellets be used as final landfill cover, on parkland and on residential properties. It includes recommendations that should be implemented if the City proceeds with pellet production and use in Toronto and beyond.
