Food Premises Inspection and Disclosure System

The DineSafe Web site is designed to provide information to the public concerning the Toronto Public Health Food Premises Inspection and Disclosure System.

Healthy dining

Eat Smart! is a multi-component nutrition promotion program for workplaces and post-secondary schools in Toronto. The program is centered upon an "Award of Excellence" for cafeterias that meet high standards in nutrition, food safety and smoke free dining.

Since June 1, 2001 all restaurants, dinner theatres and bowling centres in the City of Toronto have become smoke-free as required under Phase 2 of the City's No Smoking By-Law. Smoking will only be allowed in approved, designated smoking rooms.
