Other safer ride ideas
The safest spot for your child to sit is in the back seat of your vehicle.
Never
leave your child alone in a car under any circumstances, even sleeping infants.
If your child gets locked inside a car - call 911.
Make sure there are no hard or sharp objects inside the motor vehicle that can cause injury in a collision.
Teach children not to play in, or around cars.
Check the temperature of your child's car seat surface and safety belt buckles before placing your child in the car seat.
Keep car keys out of reach and sight of children.
Send in the warranty card for your child's car seat in order to find out about product recalls.
Throw out any car seat that:
Has passed the expiry date
Has been in a crash (even minor)
Has cracks, chips, frayed harness or missing parts.
If you throw out a car seat, be sure to cut off the harness straps.
