The Incredible Years: A free program for parents and/or caregivers with children 2 to 6 years!

About the program

The Incredible Years parenting program is a free program for parents and/or caregivers with a child between 2 and 6 years old wanting to learn more about:

  • social and emotional development in children
  • play, praise, and rewards
  • limit setting and handling misbehaviour
  • children experiencing difficulties with attention, problem solving and social skills

Parents and/or caregivers will talk about:

  • why kids act the way they do
  • how you can get kids to do what you want them to do
  • how to discipline your child without spanking
  • how to feel good about yourself and your child

Program details

  • 14 sessions once a week
  • each session is 2 hours long
  • you get a certificate when you finish
  • child care available
  • TTC tokens will be provided if needed
  • snacks provided
