About the program
The Incredible Years parenting program is a free program for parents and/or caregivers with a child between 2 and 6 years old wanting to learn more about:
- social and emotional development in children
- play, praise, and rewards
- limit setting and handling misbehaviour
- children experiencing difficulties with attention, problem solving and social skills
Parents and/or caregivers will talk about:
- why kids act the way they do
- how you can get kids to do what you want them to do
- how to discipline your child without spanking
- how to feel good about yourself and your child
Program details
- 14 sessions once a week
- each session is 2 hours long
- you get a certificate when you finish
- child care available
- TTC tokens will be provided if needed
- snacks provided
