STOP Study for "Free" Nicotine Replacement Therapy

Need help to quit smoking?

  • Do you smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day?
  • Have you smoked more than 100 cigarettes in your lifetime?
  • Do you wish to quit smoking in the next 30 days?

Join the STOP study for free nicotine replacement therapy.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is conducting the STOP Study to learn how to help people to quit smoking. Smokers who participate in the study receive free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).

People who qualify and attend one of these workshops will find out about the study and learn about proven ways to quit smoking. Those who give consent to join the study will complete a questionnaire and get 5 weeks of NRT to enhance their chances of being successful in quitting smoking.

Note: enrollment to the study opens and closes periodically. Check the enrollment page for updates.
