Each year, the World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes March 24th as World Tuberculosis (TB) Day. Toronto Public Health plans activities throughout the year to help reduce the impact of TB in Toronto.
Workshops for agencies that serve diverse communities in Toronto (PDF)
Two full-day workshops organized by Toronto Public Health (TPH) with partners from Employment and Social Services, and Toronto Public Library. Participants will learn about accessing programs for newcomers and other diverse communities including employment, children services and library services. There will also be health education on bedbugs and tuberculosis. Displays of information from other Toronto city services will also be available.
