Buying
- Choose broccoli that is tightly budded with bright
grey-green leaves and yellow-green stems.
- Choose bunches
with slender stems.
Storing
- Store broccoli in a perforated bag in the refrigerator
crisper for up to five days.
Preparing
- To prepare, wash, drain and remove outer leaves;
cut florets and trim stems. Both can be stir-fried, steamed
or eaten raw. Cook until just tender.
