Did you know?
There are three categories of cherries: sweet cherries, sour cherries, and wild cherries. Sweet cherries are most common and have more than 500 varieties. Sour cherries are usually not eaten raw but often used in preserved food products, such as jams. Cherries are a good source of vitamin C. Look for locally grown cherries in the summer time. Ten cherries make up one serving of vegetables and fruit.
