Supporting Documentation
Prior to making an application, please review the Toronto Heritage Grant Program Eligibility Requirements and Selection Criteria to ensure your proposal meets the requirements of the program.
Applications for a Toronto Heritage Grant must include the following:
- Completed application form (Parts A & B)
- Only eligible heritage conservation work should be included in the description of Proposed Conservation Work;
- Each component of the Scope of Proposed Conservation Work must be listed separately with three (3) separate estimates for each; eg. window conservation must be listed separately from masonry conservation with three separate estimates for each.
- A clear and detailed scope of work of how the conservation work must be undertaken for each component of the project. This should be prepared by a competent heritage architect, heritage contractor or restoration consultant and include details of the materials and methods that are being proposed, specifications and/or architectural drawings.* This scope of work should be provided to the three contractors and used as the basis for their estimates. The contractors' estimates must be included with your submission.

- Signed copy of the City of Toronto's Declaration of a Non-Discrimination Policy
* Applicants are requested to provide only relevant supporting documentation. Heritage Preservation Services may ask the architect/consultant/contractor for a list of completed restoration projects or membership in CAHP (Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals) to demonstrate their competency. A list of qualified heritage architects, contractors and consultants may be found by contacting CAHP at www.caphc.ca
