  Housing Services Act (HSA) Webinars
   

On January 1, 2012, the Housing Services Act replaced the Social Housing Reform Act. This webinar provides an overview of the changes that affect housing providers. This will be an opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have about the new legislation.

All you need to access the HSA Webinars is the Internet, a Web browser such as Internet Explorer, and speakers. For system and software requirements, support is available online. If joining a webinar for the first time, you can review or print these detailed instructions.

Instructions to register:

1. Go to this website.

2. You will see "Browse Meetings" at the top. Search for the your chosen date of your meeting. 

3. On the right of your chosen meeting session time and date, click on "Register".

4. Enter your details in the required boxes. Click on "Register Now".

5. Webex will send an e-mail to your e-mail address with instructions for how to log in to the webinar session. Important: Ensure you use the same e-mail address that you will have access to retrieve the e-mailed instructions.

6. Once in the meeting, you will see a pop-up box called "Join This Integrated Voice Conference" You will be able to join if you have a computer with audio input and outputs and a working microphone. If you don't have the microphone, this means you can still hear the presenters from your computer speakers but will need to communicate by typing any questions and commetns in the "Chat" option on the bottom right of the meeting window. Ensure you have the speakers ON at an audible volume.


Important: the option to join the audio conference by calling in with your telephone is no longer available.

1. Go to this website.
2. On the left navigation bar, click "Support".

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This WebEx service includes a feature that allows audio and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. By joining this session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, discuss your concerns with the meeting host prior to the start of the recording or do not join the session. Please note that any such recordings may be subject to discovery in the event of litigation.
