Seaton House can help up to 434 homeless men in downtown Toronto. The homeless men staying at Seaton House have a range of needs such as those with very poor health due, drug and alcohol problems and mental illness. Seaton House has many programs to help homeless men in need. They help their clients gain new skills so they can find a job and someday get a place of their own to live. Seaton House gets a lot of support from other neighbourhood agencies that help homeless men with job training, finding a home, healthcare and much more.
At Seaton House, the men: -
sleep on bunks beds in large rooms with shared bathrooms.
- get three meals a day in the large dining rooms
- run a linen and laundry facility to clean their clothes and bedsheets
- can get clothing and shoes if they need it
- help from doctors and nurses if they need it
