This website provides information related to by-law enforcement activity
within the City of Toronto of the
Municipal Licensing and Standards Division
(ML&S). Details of all active investigation matters resulting from
complaints/pro-active initiatives are available. In addition, the same details
related to investigation matters closed within the last two years are also available.

Terms of Use
The City of Toronto maintains this Web site as a service to members of the public
for the purpose of providing on-line information about investigation activities.
By using this site, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use.
Please review the following terms carefully.
Site Information
Our goal is to provide the public with access to information related to by-law violations,
their details and status, This site provides the following information:
- Address of properties that are the subject of a complaint and/or investigation,
- Investigation start date- "In Date",
- Investigation type,
- Current and final investigation status,
- Investigation reference number,
- Notice/Order issuance and expiration dates,
- Next scheduled inspection date, and
- Other detail of the investigation, including a description of the issue and a list
of deficiencies for those properties in scope for deficiency disclosure (residential
properties with less than 3 dwelling units are not included).
This site will provide access to the details related to all active District investigation matters.
It does not include Licensing and Waste Enforcement activity. In addition, it will allow for
a maximum 2 year query period (from the investigation start date) of closed matters.
